Welcome to the course Biodiversity.now. In this course you will learn about the reasons for the ongoing biodiversity crisis and its consequences to the nature, the human society, and your personal life. You will get a multidisciplinary perspective on biodiversity and biodiversity loss, learn different approaches and tools for the protection of biodiversity, and increasing of it it, as well as how to promote the sustainable use of the environment. You will also get to explore your own relationship with nature.
The course is the part of UNA Europa Micro-credential in Sustainability (opens in a new tab).
Biodiversity.now is developed by the Biodiversity education network (opens in a new tab), Climate University (opens in a new tab), and the UnaEuropa -alliance (opens in a new tab). The focus of the course is on biodiversity and biodiversity loss. The Ministry of Education and Culture, Sitra, and Nordplus have funded the course.
